On 25 March 2010, Ledzworld welcomed representatives from the Chief Minister’s Office of Penang. As the Federal government of Malaysia recently announced that incandescent lamps will be banned in 2014, the Penang government sees tremendous opportunities here since LED manufacturers in Penang play a leading role in the development and manufacturing of sustainable lighting. Penang is often referred to as the LED valley of Asia.
