Managing Director of Cree Asia, Mr Soo Ghee Lee personally congratulated the management of Ledzworld with the LFI Innovation Award.

Cree and Ledzworld are continuously working together as Strategic Partners since Ledzworld’s incubation well over one year ago. In that respect the management of Ledzworld also thanks Cree for their guidance and support. The lamps which has won the award was the 7W Cree Bulb with CTA dimming. Ledzworld is proud to be working so closely with the entire Cree team and will continue to launch products with the latest available Cree LED technology for many years to come.

Receiving the prestigious LFI Award

Statement by the Chief Minister of Penang, Y.A.B. Lim Guan Eng – Ledzworld Technology Sdn Bhd. ” LFI Innovation Award 20 May 2010 10 am

I wish to congratulate Penang based Ledzworld Technology Sdn Bhd for receiving the LFI Innovation Award during the recent International Light Fair in Las Vegas. The jury of LFI made of a panel of lighting industry experts awarded Ledzworld for the lamps category” (incl. LED, Halogen, Fluorescent, HID and incandescent lamps)

The innovative product that won the award is its CTA Bulb, a bulb replacement that changes color when it is dimmed, it literally becomes warmer. This is an industry first and a breakthrough application of LED technology. Headquartered in Penang and operating at No 63, 3rd floor, Pesara Kampung Jawa,Bayan Lepas, Penang , Ledzworld Technology Sdn Bhd develops and manufactures premium LED retrofit lamps in Penang since December 2008.

These LED lamps replace energy inefficient incandescent-, halogen- and CFL lamps. Ledzworld Technology is dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of high-end LED lighting solutions and components for professional applications.

With the setting up of the Penang Science Council, companies such as Ledzworld will complement the council’s vision of making Penang into a center of excellence for Science and Technology. Full driven by industry players with minimal intervention from the state government, the PSC’s tagline “Inspiring Innovation” should help to encourage more companies to drive innovation within its domain. I hope Ledzworld will also join the PSC to and become an active member in any of the five pillars.

Jan and Penang Chief Minister

During a recent press conference Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng announced to the press with pride that Ledzworld had won the prestigious LFI Innovations Award in the United States. Ledzworld enjoys a close working relationship with the Chief Minister’s office. Both the Penang government and the Federal government underline the importance of green technology, and provide huge support to Direct Foreign Investments that come to Penang to establish their companies. Ledzworld also sees many opportunities in the Malaysian markets where the incandescent bulb will be banned in 2010.

Light & Building exhibition in Frankfurt.

Ledzworld successfully launched its new product range during the recent Light & Building exhibition in Frankfurt. Hundreds of serious parties expressed keen interest in distributing Ledzworld’s advanced products. Ledzworld continues to expand its vast network of worldwide distributors. Many compliments were received from visitors about Ledzworld’s outstanding product design, product performance and about the wide range that Ledzworld currently offers compared to other companies offering retrofit LED products.
